This writ petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking a writ of mandamus declaring the action of the respondents in not allotting the works for "improvements to Gorvikunta and for desilting of Gorvikunta" tank, in favour of the petitioner, as illegal and arbitrary. 2.

When the matter is called for hearing, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the purpose of filing of this writ petition has become infructuous. The submission is recorded. 3.

Accordingly, the writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. Miscellaneous petitions, if any pending in this writ petition, shall stand closed.
