HON'BLE SRI JUSTI CE A. RAMALI NGESWARA RAO Writ Petition No. 9440 of 2014 Order:

This Writ Petition is filed challenging the proceedings of the second respondent dated 10.03.2014 and the consequential proceedings of the first respondent dated 18.03.2014 directing the fifth respondent to put on hold the process of recruitment to fill up the posts of Assistant Professors on the ground of model Code of Conduct came into operation on 04.03.2014.

When the matter is taken up for consideration, it is represented by the learned counsel for the petitioner that in view of the subsequent developments nothing survives for adjudication in the Writ Petition and the matter has become infructuous.

Recording the same, the Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous. There shall be no order as to costs.

As a sequel thereto, the miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this Writ Petition shall stand closed.
