SMT JUSTICE T.RAJANI CRIMINAL PETITON No.342 OF 2018 ORDER:
This petition is filed seeking for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner, who is sole accused, in Crime No.151 of 2017 on the file of Tirumala II Town Police Station, Chittoor District. The offence alleged is under Section 420 IPC. 2.
Heard the counsel for the petitioner and the Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent.
3.
The case of the prosecution is that this petitioner collected extra charges for arranging Darshan at Tirumala and that he did not account for the same. The excess amount taken by him is stated to be Rs.18,800/- and the allegation is also that he did not inform about expiry of 24 hours time to a room and make them to pay one day expiration amount and lock breaking charges of Rs.7,800/-.

Hence, in view of the above allegations, this court opines that this is not a fit case for granting anticipatory bail. 5.
Accordingly, the Criminal Petition is dismissed.
However, the petitioner can file a petition seeking for regular bail by surrendering himself before the court below. The court below shall dispose of the bail application, if any filed,
expeditiously, preferably on the same day, subject to the pressure of other work.
