When the matter is taken up, it is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioners that for redressal of the petitioners herein, they have submitted a representation to the District Collector, Suryapet on 24.12.2016, but no action has been taken on their representation despite lapse of considerable length of time.

Eventually, a request is made by the learned counsel for the petitioners to issue necessary direction to the 2nd respondent to verify the said representation and take action strictly in accordance with law.

In view of the above submission, without expressing any opinion on the merits and demerits of the matter, Writ Petition is disposed of directing the 2nd respondent, District Collector, Suryapet, to verify the representation dated 24.12.2016 said to have been made by the petitioners herein and to take appropriate action on the said representation strictly in accordance with law.

Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall stand closed. No order as to costs.
