HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE SANJAY KUMAR WRIT PETITION No.1419 OF 2019 O R D E R:

The grievance of the petitioner is that the District Collector, Ranga Reddy District, the 2nd respondent, is not disposing of the revision filed by her, which was taken on record in File No.D1/316/2018. This revision appears to have been filed as long back as on 27.12.2017. The 2nd respondent appellate authority called for a report from the Tahsildar, Gandipet Mandal, Ranga Reddy District, in relation to this revision as long back as on 01.02.2018. It is not open to a statutory-quasi judicial authority to keep pending a statutory revision before him indefinitely, thereby negating the valuable rights of the parties.

The Writ Petition is accordingly disposed of directing the District Collector & Magistrate, Ranga Reddy District, to dispose of the pending revision filed by the petitioner in File No.D1/316/2018 expeditiously and, in any event not later than four weeks from today, in the event it has not already been disposed of. A copy of the final order shall be communicated to the petitioner.

Pending Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, shall also stand closed. No order as to costs.
