THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE U.DURGA PRASAD RAO CRIMINAL PETITION No.378 of 2018 ORDER:

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner/ appellant. The lower appellate Court, while granting suspension of sentence, directed the petitioner to execute a personal bond and furnish two surities for Rs.5,000/ - each and also directed to deposit 1/ 4th of the compensation amount (i.e. 1/ 4th of Rs.15,00,000/ -) within one month from the date of the order.

The learned counsel for the petitioner tried to convince this Court that the aforesaid order is illegal. But, this Court, is not inclined to appreciate the said argument, since this Court has not found any illegality or perversity therein. Alternatively, the learned counsel requested for extension of time granted by the lower appellate Court.

Considering the request, the time granted by the lower appellate Court is extended till 12.02.2018.
