THE HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE K.SURENDER CRIMINAL PETITION No.558 OF 2023 ORDER:

This Criminal Petition is filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 (for short'Cr.P.C.') by the petitionersAccused Nos.2, 4 to 8 to quash the proceedings against them in FIR No.6 of 2023 pending on the file of Station House Officer, Kodad Rural Police Station, Suryapet District, filed for the offences punishable under Sections 341,324,294-8 and 506 read with 34 of Indian Penal Code (for short "IPC').

2. Heard learned counsel for the petitioners - Accused and learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the respondent - State. Perused the material on record.

The petitioners-Accused Nos.2, 4 to 8 alleged to have beaten one of the family members of 2nd respondent - de facto ( { complainant on 04.01.2023.

In the complaint, it was specifically mentioned that Accused Nos.1 and 3 have assaulted the injured. As per the medical -

certificate, two simple injuries and one grievous injury were received.

Since there is no specific allegation against these petitioners inflicting injuries on the injured though they were present at the scene, this Court deems it appropriate to direct the Investigating Officer in respect of FIR No.6 of 2023 pending on the file of Station House Officer, Kodad Rural Police Station, Suryapet District, to conclude the investigation without taking any coercive steps against the petitioners - Accused Nos.2, 4 to 8. Further, the petitioners - Accused shall co-operate with the Investigating Officer as and when required for the purpose of investigation.
