This Criminal Petition, under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973, is filed by the petitioner/ A.2 to quash the charge sheet in S.C.No.453 of 2016 in PRC No.43 of 2015 in Crime No.612 of 2015 on the file of the IX Assistant Sessions Judge-cum-IX Senior Civil Judge, Ranga Reddy District at L.B. Nagar registered for the offences punishable under Sections 307, 332, 337 and 338 read with 34 of IPC and Sections 3 and 4 of Prevention of Damage to Public Property Act, 1984 and Section 181 of M.V. Act.

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner/ A.2, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor representing respondent No.1/ State and perused the record.

Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner intends to compromise the matter.

Section 307 of IPC is not a compoundable offence. As seen from the record, the allegations levelled against the petitioner/ A.2 constitute the aforesaid offences. The petition is devoid of merit and is liable to be dismissed. 5.
In the result, the Criminal Petition is dismissed. Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, pending in this Criminal Petition shall stand dismissed.
