This writ petition is filed challenging the action of the respondents in not considering the application dt.11.12.2019 filed by the petitioners for issuance of pattadar pass books in respect of the land admeasuring Ac.8.37 guntas in Survey No.262/A, situated at Medipally Village, Moinabad Mandal, Ranga Reddy District, in pursuance of the letter vide No.G/1947/2018, dt.20.07.2019.
The case of the petitioners is that the petitioners were granted Certificate in Form VI A under the provisions of Section 38(6) of the Tenancy Act, 1950 and thereafter the Revenue Divisional Officer directed the Tahasildar to take necessary action as per Rules. Inspite of the same, the 4th respondent has not taken any action. As such, the petitioner made representation dt.11.12.2019 to the 2nd respondent for mutation of their names in the revenue records and also for issuance of Pattadar Pass Books and Title Deeds in respect of the subject land. As no action has been taken, present writ petition is filed. Heard learned counsel for the petitioners.
Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Revenue submits that the petitioners have to make necessary application in Form-6A of the A.P.Rights in Land and Pattadar Passbooks Act, 1971 (for short" the Act") for issuance of pattadar pass books and title deeds and for mutation of names in revenue records.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioners will make necessary application in Form VI A of the Act. In view of the above, the writ petition is disposed of granting liberty to the petitioners to make necessary application in Form VI prescribed under the Act and on such application being made, the 4th respondent is directed to take appropriate action in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of filing application by the petitioners. No order as to costs.
As a sequel to the disposal of this petition, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending shall stand closed.
