THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE SANJAY KUMAR WRIT PETITION No. 12910 of 2011 ORDER:

The complaint of the petitioner in this case was that the Kuppam Town Police Station authorities, the 3rd and 4th respondents herein, were interfering with his business without any crime having been registered against him. In the counter affidavit, the Sub Inspector of Police, Kuppam Town Police

Station, Chittoor District, denied the allegation that the police authorities interfered with the petitioner's business. He further stated that no complaint was registered against the petitioner on the file of the Kuppam Town Police Station and therefore, the question of summoning him to the police station did not arise. In the light of the stand taken by the police authorities in the aforestated counter, it is clear that the writ petition was filed on a mere apprehension and the same is accordingly closed.

Pending Miscellaneous Petitions shall also stand closed. No order as to costs.
