HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE SANJAY KUMAR WRIT PETITION No.1632, 1639 & 1648 of 2019 COMMON ORDER:

The grievance of the petitioners in these cases is that the revenue authorities are not taking action to issue E-Patta Passbooks despite the fact that the petitioners made the requisite applications in Form VI A under the Telangana Rights in Land and Pattadar Pass Books Act, 1971. Perusal of the record reflects that the petitioners were earlier issued pattadar passbooks and title deeds under the provisions of the said Act. That being so, there is no reason as to why the Tahsildar, Khammam Rural Mandal, Khammam District, should remain inactive upon the petitioners' representations.

The Writ Petition is accordingly disposed of directing the Tahsildar, Khammam Rural Mandal, Khammam District, to take appropriate action upon the applications made by the petitioners in Form VIA and their written representations for issuance of E-Patta Passbooks expeditiously and in any event, not later than four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

Miscellaneous Petitions pending in this Writ Petition shall stand closed. No order as to costs.
