HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE U.DURGA PRASAD RAO CRIMINAL PETITION No.5811 OF 2013 ORDER:

In this petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C, petitioners/A1 and A2 seek to quash the proceedings in Crime No.92 of 2013 on the file of III Town Police Station, Khammam, registered for the offence under Sections 418, 420, 406 r/w 34 IPC.

When the matter came up for hearing, learned Assistant Public Prosecutor produced the letter dated 24.07.2018 of Sub-Inspector of Police, Khammam III Town Police Station, Khammam District and submitted that after filing of charge sheet, C.C.No.338 of 2013 was registered and the said case has been compromised before Lok Adalat on 11.02.2014 and therefore, the petition which is filed to quash the proceedings in Crime No.92 of 2013 has become infructuous and hence the same may be dismissed. 3.

In view of the above submission of learned Assistant Public Prosecutor, the Criminal Petition is dismissed as Infructuous.

As a sequel, miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed.
