This petition is filed seeking for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioners, who are A2 and A3, in Crime No.72 of 2017 on the file of Pullala Cheruvu Police Station, Prakasam District. The offences alleged are under Sections 323, 506, 509 r/w 34 IPC, Sections 3(2)(va) and 3(1)(r)(s) of SC/ST POA Act, 2015. 2.
Heard the counsel for the petitioners and the Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent.

The allegations in the complaint would show that all the petitioners together kicked the defacto complainant and abused defacto complainant in her caste name. Hence, by virtue of the embargo laid down under Section 18 of SC/ST POA Act, anticipatory bail cannot be granted to the petitioners. 4.
Accordingly, the Criminal Petition is dismissed. However, the petitioner can file a petition seeking for regular bail by surrendering himself before the court below. The court below shall dispose of the bail application, if any filed, expeditiously, preferably on the same day, subject to the pressure of other work. As a sequel, miscellaneous petitions pending consideration, if any, in this case shall stand closed.
