THE HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE RAJA ELANGO CRIMINAL PETITION No.8541 of 2015 ORDER:

This Criminal Petition is filed by the petitioner-Accused under Section 437 and 439 Cr.P.C. seeking to grant bail to him in Crime No.343 of 2014 on the file of Medchal Police Station, Ranga Reddy District, registered for the offence punishable under Section 302 IPC. Heard and perused the material available on record. The allegation against the petitioner is that he got close acquaintance with the deceased while she was working as Home guard and developed sexual relationship with her and that he had one more illicit affair with one Balakrishnamma and the deceased used to demand more money and warn him directly that she would disclose his illegal affair with Balakrishnamma. On the apprehension that the deceased would defame his status in the society, the petitioner killed her.

It is stated that the investigation is still in progress. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner at this stage.
