Heard both sides. With the consent of both parties the writ petition is disposed of at the admission stage. 2.

The present writ petition came to be filed seeking issuance of writ of Mandamus declaring the action of respondents in not considering the petitioners' proposals dated 27.09.2016, 07.10.2016 and 10.10.2016 respectively submitted in pursuance of notice dated 08.09.2016, as illegal and arbitrary and consequently direct the respondents to place the petitioners' proposals before the Project Approval Committee, after providing an opportunity to the petitioners to rectify the deficiencies, if any.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that an issue identical to the case on hand came up for consideration in W.P.No.26145 of 2016, wherein this Court directed the fourth respondent therein to decide the representations/ proposals made by the petitioners within four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of the order and to communicate the same to the petitioners within a week thereafter. Further, it was confirmed that if the petitioners are aggrieved by the action or inaction of the respondent, the petitioners are at liberty to challenge the same before appropriate forum. The same is not disputed by the learned counsel appearing for the respondents.

Having regard to the above, the writ petition is disposed of directing respondent No.2 to decide the proposals noted above, made

CPK, J W.P.No.17937 of 2017 by the petitioners, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and the decision taken thereon shall be communicated to the petitioners within a period of one week thereafter. Needless to state that if the petitioners are aggrieved of the action or inaction of the respondent mentioned above, they are at liberty to challenge the same before appropriate forum. No costs. As a sequel thereto, Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, pending in this Writ Petition, shall stand closed.
