HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE ABHINAND KUMAR SHAVILI WRIT PETITION No.1585 of 2019 ORDER :
This writ petition is filed seeking Writ of Mandamus declaring the proceedings of the 5th respondent vide No.84/2014/A2, dated 16.04.2014 directing the petitioner to remit an amount of Rs.5,45,973/-, as illegal and arbitrary, and consequently sought a direction to respondent Nos.2 and 3 to consider the representation dated 19.11.2018 of the petitioner to furnish certified copy of the Award dated 18.12.2013 passed by respondent No.6.
Heard Sri P. Kiran, learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Pleader for Forests.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has submitted a representation dated 19.11.2018 requesting the respondents to furnish certified copy of the Award dated 18.12.2013 passed by respondent No.6 to enable him to prefer an appeal against the said Award, however, the respondents have not furnished the certified copy of the said Award dated 18.12.2013. The learned counsel, therefore, contends that appropriate orders be passed in the writ petition directing the respondents to furnish certified copy of the Award dated 18.12.2013.
AKS, J W.P.No.1585 of 2019 The learned Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submits that the representation of the petitioner will be considered and appropriate orders would be passed thereon.
This Court, having considered the rival submissions of the learned counsel for the respective parties, is of the considered view that this writ petition can be disposed of directing respondent Nos.2 and 3 to consider the representation dated 19.11.2018 submitted by the petitioner for furnishing certified copy of the Award dated 18.12.2013 passed by respondent No.6 and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law within a period of two (2) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
With the above observations, the writ petition is disposed of. No order as to costs.
As a sequel, miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, in this writ petition shall stand closed.
