This criminal petition is filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C to quash the proceedings in Crime No.193 of 2012 of Narasannapeta Police Station, Srikakulam District, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 494 and 498-A of IPC.

This Court granted interim order, which was in force till 05.12.2013 and on that day, it was extended until further orders. The 1st respondent completed entire investigation on 12.01.2013 and filed charge sheet before the concerned Court i.e. much prior to filing the present criminal petition i.e. on 14.03.2013 and that the same is numbered as C.C.No.79 of 2013 and the same is pending for trial. When the charge sheet is filed much prior to the date of filing the criminal petition, nothing survives for adjudication in this case. The criminal petition is accordingly dismissed. Pending miscellaneous petitions in the petition, if any, shall stand closed.
