THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE ABHINAND KUMAR SHAVILI WRIT PETITION No.1602 OF 2019 O R D E R :

When the matter is taken up for hearing, it is submitted by the learned Government Pleader for the respondents that in pursuance of interim order passed by this Court on 08.02.2019, the case of the petitioners was considered and petitioners were permitted to participate in the selection process and after finalisation of the selections, it is noticed that petitioners do not come within the zone of consideration for appointment to the post of Junior Personnel Officer. Learned counsel for the petitioners has also not disputed the said contention of the learned Government Pleader for the respondents.

In view of the above said submission, this Court is of the considered view that after selection process, since the petitioners do not come within the zone of consideration, there are no merits in the writ petition and writ petition is accordingly dismissed. The issue whether B.Tech Degree is equivalent to the qualifications prescribed in the notification, is left open. There shall be no order as to costs.
