No. 317 of 2017 of PS Marredpally pending trial on any terms and conditions.

The Court made the following ORDER:

This Criminal Petition is filed seeking for grant of bail to the petitioner, who is accused, in Crime No.317 of 2017 on the file of the Station House Officer, Marredpally Police Station, Hyderabad City.

The offences alleged are under Section 420 of I.P.C. and Section 5 of the A.P. Protection of Depositors of Financial Establishments Act, 1999. 3.

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner, learned Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent-State, and perused the record. 4.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has been languishing in jail since 18.12.2017 and that the material part of the investigation is also completed.

Learned Public Prosecutor does not refute the said fact.

Hence, in the above circumstances, this Court does not see any reason to refuse the bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, the Criminal Petition is allowed. The petitioner/accused is directed to be enlarged on bail, on condition of his executing a personal bond for a sum of Rs.50,000/- (Rupees fifty thousand only) with two sureties for a like sum each to the satisfaction of the Metropolitan Sessions Judge, City Criminal Courts at Nampally, Hyderabad. Further, the petitioner/accused is directed to appear before the Station House Officer, Marredpally Police Station, Hyderabad City, twice in a week i.e., on every Monday and Wednesday in between 09:00 a.m. and 02:00 p.m., until further orders.
