HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A. RAMALINGESWARA RAO Contempt Case No. 296 of 2016 Order:

This Contempt Case is filed alleging non-implementation of the order of this Court passed in W.P. No.11375 of 2008, dated 23.12.2014.

2. This Court disposed of the said Writ Petition setting aside the order passed by the second respondent in the Writ Petition dated 14.02.2005 as confirmed by the first respondent on 01.05.2008 and remanding the matter to the second respondent for consideration of the case afresh after giving due opportunity to the petitioner and pass appropriate orders within a period of six (6) months. Accordingly, a notice of hearing was given to the petitioner on 18.04.2015 and a personal hearing was given on 27.04.2015. After recording the statement of the Consumer an order was passed on 28.05.2016.

3. In view of the compliance of the order, this Court sees no ground to entertain the present Contempt Case. However, liberty is given to the petitioner to challenge the revised final assessment order, if the petitioner is aggrieved.

4. The Contempt Case is, accordingly, closed. There shall be no order as to costs.

5. As a sequel thereto, the miscellaneous applications, if any, pending in this Contempt Case shall stand closed. ________________________ A.
