Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and Assistant Solicitor General for respondents 1 and 2.

This writ petition is filed alleging that without disclosing true and correct facts, the 3rd respondent obtained fresh passport on 07.01.2019 and prays for issuing direction to impound the fresh Passport bearing No.S9229887. 3.

When the matter is taken up, learned counsel for the petitioner as well as learned Standing counsel representing respondents 1 and 2 informs the Court that the 3rd respondent surrendered her passport issued on 07.01.2019 to the Passport authorities and the said passport is in the custody of 1st respondent.

In view of the fact that the passport is already surrendered by the 3rd respondent and the same is now in the custody of 1st respondent, the cause in the writ petition does not survive. 5.

Accordingly, the Writ Petition is dismissed. It is always open to the petitioner and 3rd respondent to work out their remedies as available in law. Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall stand closed.
