HON'BLE SRI JUSTICHE K. LAKSHMAN WRIT PETITION No.1564 of 2020 ORDER:

During the course of hearing, it is brought to the notice of this Court that respondent No.1 vide proceedings dated 18-02-2020 rejected the request made by the petitioner for grant of pension under Swatantra Sainik Samman Pension Scheme, 1980. The said fact is also specifically mentioned in the counter filed by respondent No.1. The said request made by the petitioner was rejected in terms of paragraph No.1.5 of Revised Policy Guidelines, dated 06-08-2014.

In view of the same, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner seeks permission of this Court to withdraw the present writ petition with a liberty to challenge the aforesaid proceedings dated 18-02-2020 and also paragraph No.1.5 of Revised Policy Guidelines, dated 06-08-2014.

Granting liberty as sought, this writ petition is dismissed as withdrawn. There shall be no order as to costs. As a sequel, the miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in the Writ Petition shall stand closed.
