Petitioners claim that they are in occupation of land declared as surplus in accordance with the Urban Land (Ceiling and Regulation) Act, 1976. Taking advantage of the policy decision taken by the Government to regularize occupation of such land by third parties notified vide G.O.Ms.No.747, Revenue (UC-1) Department, dated 18.06.2008, petitioners claimed to have submitted applications for regularizing the land in their occupation in Survey Nos.34 Part, 36 Part and 960 in Guttala Begumpet Village, Serilingampally Mandal, Ranga Reddy District. Alleging inaction on the said applications, these Writ Petitions are filed.

When these matters are taken up, learned Government Pleader for Revenue produced Memos, dated 04.09.2017, issued by the Special Deputy Collector, Urban Land Ceiling, Ranga Reddy District, which were served on the petitioners informing them that their applications could not be processed as all the link documents were not furnished from the declarants. 4.

Learned senior counsel appearing for the petitioners submits that the petitioners have responded to the said Memos and submitted all the documents, but still the applications are not processed. He further submits that petitioners will again submit all the requisite documents as directed by the competent

authority in Memo, dated 04.09.2017, and on receipt of those documents, the competent authority shall process and take decision, as warranted by law.

Having regard to the said submission, the Writ Petitions are disposed of granting liberty to the petitioners to respond to the Memo, dated 04.09.2017, and submit all the documents as directed by the competent authority. Subject to the satisfaction of the documents presented by the petitioners, the competent authority shall process the documents for regularization of the land in accordance with G.O.Ms.No.747, dated 18.06.2008, and if the same is in force and petitioners satisfy the conditions of such granting regularization, pass appropriate orders, as warranted by law, and communicate the decision to the petitioners within a period of three months from the date of submission of documents. There shall be no order as to costs. Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall stand closed. ____________________ P. NAVEEN RAO, J Date:12.04.2019 KH
