O R D E R
This Criminal Petition is filed before this Court for grant of bail to the Petitioner who is arrayed as accused in FIR No.1419 of 2025 of Uppal Police Station, Rachakonda Commissionerate, registered for the offence punishable under Section 80 of the BNS.

The brief facts of the case are that, on 11.12.2025, the defacto complainant lodged a report before the police stating that
- 2 - he performed the marriage of the deceased, who is the daughter of the de-facto complainant, with accused in the month of June, 2025, and it is the second marriage of the deceased and the 1st marriage was ended in divorce due to the harassment of the 1st husband and 25 lakhs worth of dowry was given to the groom's family at the time of marriage with the accused and thereafter, they lived happily for some time and the petitioner herein used to harass the deceased for additional dowry and the same was informed by the deceased to her elder sister and the deceased also called her father and told him the same and he told her that he would give the money and ended the call and later, he called his elder daughter and informed her that the deceased committed suicide by handing herself from the ceiling fan with a saree and the deceased was shifted to the hospital where she was already declared died and it is further stated that the deceased committed suicide due to the harassment of the accused.
Hence, the complainant requested to take necessary action. Basing on the said complaint, the police registered a case for the above said offence.

Heard Sri Baglekar Akash Kumar, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner as well as Sri M.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is innocent of the said allegation and he is in jail since 11.12.2025 and the entire investigation was already completed and there is no such allegation against the petitioner herein that "soon before her death" the petitioner herein harassed the deceased for additional dowry, therefore, Section 80 of the BNS is not applicable to the present case. Therefore, he prayed the Court to grant bail to him by allowing this criminal petition. 5.
On the other hand, learned Assistant Public Prosecutor opposed the submissions made by the learned counsel for the petitioner stating that the allegation against the petitioner herein is serious in nature. Further, the investigation is not yet completed. At this stage, he is not entitled for the bail. Therefore, he prayed the Court to dismiss the criminal petition. 6.
In the light of the submissions made by both the learned counsel and upon perusal of the material available on record, it appears that the petitioner herein is in jail since 11.12.2025. As seen from the remand case diary, the prosecution witnesses,
- 4 - LWs 1 to 17 have already been examined. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the nature of the allegations, the stage of investigation, the duration of incarceration, this Court finds it appropriate to grant bail to the petitioner, subject to the following conditions:
i.
The petitioner shall execute a personal bond for a sum of Rs.25,000/- (Rupees Twenty Five Thousand only), with two sureties for a like sum each to the satisfaction of the learned VI Additional Metropolitan Magistrate, MedchalMalkajgiri District, Uppal, at L.B. Nagar. ii.
The petitioner shall appear before the concerned SHO at 11:00 a.m., on every Monday for a period of eight (8) weeks or till filing of charge sheet whichever is earlier, for the purpose of investigation, and thereafter, as and when required.
iii.
The petitioner shall abide by the conditions stipulated in Section 437(3) of Cr.P.C. (presently, Section 480(3) of the BNSS).

Accordingly, the Criminal petition is allowed. Miscellaneous applications, if any pending, shall stand closed.
