HONOURABLE SRI J USTICE SURESH K UMAR K AIT CRIMINAL PETITION No. 15440 of 2016 ORDER:

Vide present Criminal Petition, the petitioners/Accused Nos.1 and 2 seek bail in Crime No. 142 of 2016 registered on the file of Station House Officer, Police Station, Rajanagaram, E.G. District for the offences punishable under Section 8(c) read with Section 20(b)(ii) of NDPS Act, 1985.

Heard learned Counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioners/Accused Nos. 1 and 2 and learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing on behalf of the respondent-State. Perused the material on record.

Inasmuch as 67 Kgs of Ganja was seized from the possession of the petitioners, Section 37 of NDPS Act comes into play, as the same is commercial quantity. In view of the same, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioners/Accused Nos. 1 and 2.

The Criminal Petition is dismissed.
