HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE ABHINAND KUMAR SHAVILI WRIT PETITON No. 6289 of 2003 O R D E R:

The above writ petition is filed seeking to issue writ of Mandamus seeking promotion of the petitioners on par with the unofficial respondents.

When the matter came up for hearing, it is submitted that all the petitioners except petitioner Nos.10 to 12, 14 and 15, retired from service. If that be so, petitioner Nos.10 to 12,14 and 15 are eligible for promotion.

In that view of the matter, this court of is of the considered view that ends of justice would be met if the respondents are directed to consider the case of the petitioner Nos.10 to 12, 14 and 15 for promotion, in accordance with law and the rules in vogue and pass appropriate orders within a period of four (04) weeks from the date of receipt of the copy of the order.

Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs. Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, pending in this writ Petition shall stand closed.
