HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE CHALLA KODANDA RAM WRIT PETITION No. 33742 OF 2017 ORDER:

The action of respondents, in non-inclusion of petitioner - College in the process of counselling for allotment of students in B.Ed Course for the academic year 2017-18, is questioned in the Writ Petition as being illegal and arbitrary.

Heard the learned Counsel for the respective parties. It is submitted across the Bar that the issue raised in this Writ Petition is squarely covered by an order of this Court in W.P.No. 26870 of 2016 and batch dated 16.09.2016 which was confirmed in Writ Appeal No. 1047 of 2016 and, further, the Special Leave Petition filed thereagainst was dismissed by the Supreme Court. Thereafter, the State had granted permission to the petitioners therein and issued necessary Government Orders. This aspect is not disputed by the learned counsel appearing for the parties.

In the circumstances, the Writ Petition is disposed of with a direction to respondents to consider the case of the petitioners, in terms of para 20 of the judgment of the learned Single Judge in Writ Petition No. 26870 of 2016 and batch, dated 16.09.2016, for the academic year 2017-18, and take necessary decision within a week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.

Consequently, the miscellaneous applications, if any shall stand closed.
