ORDER:

This Civil Miscellaneous Appeal arises out of award, dated 31.12.2013, in W.C.No.35 of 2008 (Old case-W.C.No.105 of 2005/ACL-III/Hyd.) on the file of the Commissioner for Employees' Compensation and Deputy Commissioner of Labour-II, Hyderabad (for short 'the Commissioner').

The Registry has placed before the Court award, dated 05.12.2014, of the Lok Adalat held at Hyderabad, a perusal of which would show that the Lok Adalat has recorded settlement of the dispute, whereby respondent No.1 has agreed to receive reduced compensation of Rs.4,90,043/- along with accrued interest thereon and the

appellant is entitled to get refund of the balance amount of Rs.2,25,000/- along with accrued interest thereon, which was deposited by it before the Commissioner before the filing of the Civil Miscellaneous Appeal.
