Chinnamani, s/o.

Ponnuswamy, (for short "the alleged detenu") before this Court and set him at liberty.

Though the learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home (Andhra Pradesh) submits that the respondents have filed counter affidavit, the same is not placed on record. He has submitted that the alleged detenu was arrested in connection with Crime No.3/2018 of Duttaluru Police Station, Nellore District, and that he was produced before the jurisdictional Magistrate on the same day, who inturn remanded him to the Judicial custody. Learned counsel for the petitioner has not disputed the above submission.

In the light of the above, the writ petition is disposed of as infructuous. No order as to costs.
