This writ petition is filed seeking the following relief/s: 'to issue writ, order or direction more particularly one in the nature of Writ of Mandamus, declaring the inaction of the official respondents in not removing the bus shelter erected in front of the petitioner's premises bearing no.8-2-293/82/A/732-A/1 and 8-2-293/82/A/732-A bearing Plot Nos.732A, situated at Road No.36, Jubilee Hills, Hyderabad known as Mehar Baba Bus Stop, which is illegal, arbitrary and contrary to law and also in violation of Article 14 and 21 of the Constitution of India and also in violation of GHMC Act and Rules. Consequently direct the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 23.06.2012 and pass such other order...' [Reproduced verbatim] I have heard the submissions of the learned counsel for the writ petitioner. I have perused the material record.

On 05.07.2012 it was submitted by the then learned Standing counsel Sri C.Damodar Reddy for respondents 1 and 2 that the GHMC had already taken a decision for shifting of the bus shelter which is in front of the house of the petitioner's building and that directions are issued to the advertising agency for such shifting and that it is likely to take some time.

The learned counsel for the writ petitioner would submit that the bus shelter, which was earlier in front of the house of the petitioner's building, was removed as per the directions issued to the advertising agency and that therefore, the writ petition may be disposed of as the cause no longer survives for adjudication. Recording the said submission, the writ petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.

Miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, in this writ petition shall stand closed.
