Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned standing counsel appearing for the respondent No.2. 2.

Husband of the petitioner was working as a Helper in the Telangana Foods. Petitioner alleges that from 30.02.2016 he is not traceable and his whereabouts are not known. After making all efforts to trace him, a complaint was lodged on 01.06.2016 in the Medipally Police Station. Having searched for the missing person, the police gave a certificate on 09.12.2016 that whereabouts of Sri Pakeeranna could not be traced. Petitioner, later, applied to the respondent No.2 requesting to provide employment to her son or daughter on compassionate ground. Alleging inaction on the representation, this writ petition is filed.

Since no decision is made on the request made by the petitioner to provide employment to her children, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this writ petition is disposed of directing the respondent No.2 to consider the request of the petitioner to provide employment duly taking note of the Government policy issued on the subject whenever an employee is found missing and his whereabouts are not traced. A decision shall be taken and communicated to the petitioner within a period of six (6) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. There shall be no order as to costs. The miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this writ petition shall stand closed.
