HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE T.VINOD KUMAR W.P.No.1621 of 2020 ORDER:

The present Writ Petition is filed questioning the inaction of the respondent No.5 in not registering the case based on the representations of the petitioner dt.19-10-2019, 04-11-2019, 10-01-2020 and 18-01-2020, and to declare the same as illegal and arbitrary.

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner as well as learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home appearing for the respondents-police authorities.

The learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home, on written instructions dt.28-01-2020, would submit that on receipt of the various complaints of the petitioner and the last complaint being dt.18-01-2020, the respondent-police authorities have made GD entry and enquiry was done and after enquiry, a case was registered in Crime No.71 of 2020 under Section 448, 323 IPC and Sections 3 and 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act of Uppal police station on 27-01-2020. He would further submit that upon registering the above case, the respondent-police authorities took up investigation. However, before the registration of petitioner's complaint, on the complaint of the 6th respondent, a case was registered against the petitioner in Crime No.46 of 2020 under

TVK,J W.P.No.1621 of 2020 Section 498-A, 323 IPC and Sections 3 and 4 of the Dowry prohibition ct of Uppal police station on 18-01-2020. 4.

Recording the above submission made on behalf of the respondent-police authorities that a case is registered based on the complaint of the petitioner, no further orders are necessary in the Writ Petition as the grievance of the petitioner in the present Writ Petition stands redressed.

Accordingly, the Writ Petition is closed. No costs. 6.

Miscellaneous petitions pending in the Writ Petition, if any, shall stand closed.
