The grievance of the petitioners is that their application, dated 04-04-2015 seeking conversion of agricultural lands into nonagricultural lands, as set out in the prayer of the writ petition, is not being considered by the 3rd respondent.

Learned Government Pleader, who has obtained instructions, from the 3rd respondent states that the petitioners have not produced pattadar passbooks, title deeds and link documents in respect of the lands in question and the petitioners were asked to produce the same. It is evident from the above that the proposal of the petitioners is pending before the 3rd respondent and it is waiting for the petitioners to produce the documents as stated above.

Learned counsel for the petitioners states that the petitioners will take necessary steps and produce necessary documents before the 3rd respondent as early as possible.

Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of directing the 3rd respondent to examine the petitioners application in the light of the documents, which the petitioners seek to produce, as recorded above, and thereafter pass appropriate orders expeditiously, in any case within two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
