This Criminal Petition, under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973, is filed by the petitioners-A.1 to A.4 seeking to quash the proceedings in Crime No.217 of 2016 of W.P.S., D.D., Hyderabad, registered for the offences under Sections 498-A, 406, 420, 344, 120-B I.P.C. r/w Section 34 I.P.C. and Sections 3, 4 and 6 of the Dowry Prohibition Act.

In the course of submissions, it is brought to the notice of this Court by the learned Assistant Public Prosecutor that the police referred the impugned dispute as 'Action Drop'. Under these circumstances, there is nothing to adjudicate in this Criminal Petition. 3.

Accordingly, this Criminal Petition is dismissed as infructuous. Miscellaneous petitions, if any pending in this case, shall stand closed.
