THE HONOURABLE Dr.JUSTICE B.SIVA SANKARA RAO I.A.Nos.3 and 4 of 2019 in/and Criminal Petition No.426 of 2019 ORDER :

The petitioner is accused in S.C.No.963 of 2018 on the file of the I Addl.District & Sessions Judge, Ranga Reddy District at L.B.Nagar, outcome of Cr.No.354 IPC, u/sec.3(1) W(I&II) of the Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, (for short, 'the Act') and u/sec.12 of Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act (for short, 'the POCSO Act'), on the report of the defacto-complainant/2nd respondent, father of victim girl by name N.Sasrutha.

The petitioner, the defacto-complainant and victim girl along with their counsel present before the Court and stated that they have settled the dispute between them amicably and sought permission vide I.A.Nos.3 and 4 of 2019 to compromise the matter and compound the offence. In view of the compromise between the parties, the same is recorded and they are permitted to compound the offences. In the result, the I.A.Nos.3 and 4 of 2019 are allowed. Consequently, the Criminal Petition is also allowed by quashing the proceedings against the petitioner/accused in S.C.No.963 of 2018 on the file of the I Addl.District & Sessions Judge, Ranga Reddy District at L.B.Nagar. The petitioner/accused is acquitted and his bail bond shall stand cancelled. Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall stand closed.
