O R D E R

This writ petition is filed alleging the auction of lease hold rights scheduled on 31.05.2008 in respect of land admeasuring Ac.5-50 cents in Sy.No.639 of S.N.Padu Village and Mandal without issuing notice to the petitioner, as illegal and arbitrary.

This writ petition is of the year 2008. At the time of admission, on 29.05.2008 this Court granted interim order for a period four weeks. The impugned auction was for granting lease hold rights for a period of 3 years.

By efflux of time, the said period has expired. In view of the same, the cause in the writ petition no longer survives for adjudication. Hence, the writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. Any interim order granted earlier shall stand vacated. There shall be no order as to costs.

As a sequel, miscellaneous petitions pending if any, shall stand closed.
