O R D E R

The grievance of the petitioner is that the District Registrar, Registration & Stamps, Warangal, is not disposing of her appeal bearing No.456 of 2017. Perusal of the record reflects that she filed the said appeal under Section 72 of the Registration Act, 1908 as long back as on 06.03.2017. It is not open to the statutory authority who is vested with quasi-judicial power to entertain an appeal and keep the same pending indefinitely.

The writ petition is accordingly disposed of directing the appellate authority, viz., the District Registrar, Registration & Stamps, Warangal, to pass appropriate orders on the petitioner's pending appeal No.456 of 2017 on merits and in accordance with law expeditiously and in any event, not later than two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Pending miscellaneous petitions shall stand closed in the light of this final order. No order as to costs.
