The petitioner has filed this Writ Petition to declare the action of the respondents in not filling up the vacancy of Security Officer in pursuance to the interviews held on 04.11.1997 as arbitrary, illegal and sought a consequential direction to appoint the petitioner on the basis of earlier selection. 3.

At the time of admitting this Writ Petition, this Hon'ble Court was pleased to grant interim stay. On a perusal of the record, it is disclosed that the petitioner has attained the age of superannuation. At this point of time, there cannot be a direction to appoint the petitioner. 4.

Writ Petition is accordingly dismissed.
