THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE ABHINAND KUMAR SHAVILI WRIT PETITION No.1747 OF 2020 O R D E R :

This writ petition is filed seeking a Writ of Mandamus, declaring the action of the respondents 3 and 4 in not disposing of the petitioner's representation dated 12.12.2019, as illegal and arbitrary and sought for a consequential direction to respondents 3 and 4 to dispose of the representation dated 12.12.2019 at the earliest.

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner, Sri R.Vinod Reddy, learned Standing counsel for respondents. It has been contended by the petitioner that she has purchased the property from M/s. Sundar and made an application for service connection. But, her application was rejected on the ground that M/s. Sundar Steels fell in arrears to the respondents.

Learned counsel for the petitioner contends that M/s. Sundar Steels is very much in existence and carrying on its business activities and the respondents inspite of initiating action against M/s. Sundar Steels are denying service connection to the petitioner. In those set of circumstances, the petitioner had submitted a representation on 12.12.2019 requesting the respondents to sanction service connection to her property. But so far, the respondents neither considered her representation nor sanctioned service connection to her property. Therefore, he contends that appropriate orders be passed in this writ petition directing the respondents to consider the representation

submitted by the petitioner on 12.12.2019 and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law.

Learned Standing counsel appearing for the respondents had contended that since the representation submitted by the petitioner on 12.12.2019 is pending with the respondents, the respondents would consider the same and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law.

This Court, having considered the rival submissions of both the parties is of the considered view that this Writ Petition can be disposed of directing the respondents to consider the representation submitted by the petitioner on 12.12.2019 and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
