ORDER:- The present writ petition came to be filed seeking issuance of a writ of mandamus declaring the action of the respondents in closing the Water Treatment Plant of the petitioner Trust by preventing it to supply purified drinking water processed through R.O. system to the poor and needy public with non-profit motive in and around Machilipatnam Town as permitted by the Government of Andhra Pradesh vide G.O.Rt.No.69 dated 28.02.2009, as illegal and arbitrary. At the time when the matter is taken up for admission, the learned counsel for the petitioner as well as the learned Government Pleader for Revenue appearing for the respondents 1, 2 & 4 submitted that the subject matter of this writ petition is squarely covered by an order dated 08.06.2015 passed by this Court in W.P.No.14459 of 2011 and batch.

The operative portion of the said order is as under: "In the facts and circumstances of the case, I am inclined to dispose of the writ petition. If the petitioners are conducting the activity of supplying purified water to the people living in slum areas or to people who are in need of water, and such activity needs licence under the provisions of the Act, it is left open for the respondents Corporation to take action against the petitioners by giving appropriate prior notice, in accordance with law, and affording an opportunity of being heard.

Resultantly, without following due process of law, the officials of the respondent Corporation shall not interfere with the activity of the petitioners in supplying the purified drinking water through reverse osmosis process to the people living in slum areas in and around of Vijayawada Hill Terrain.

With the above directions, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No

order as to costs."

In view of the order referred to above, the present Writ Petition is disposed of, in terms of the above order. There shall be no order as to costs.

Consequently, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in the writ petition shall also stand closed.
