THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE RAJA ELANGO CRIMINAL REVISION CASE No.1722 OF 2016 ORDER:

This criminal revision case is filed by the petitioner/accused under Sections 397 and 401 of Code of Criminal Procedure (CrPC) seeking to quash the docket order, dated 03.06.2016, passed in C.C.No.41 of 2016 on the file of the Judicial Magistrate of First Class, Lakkireddipalle, whereby the Court below directed the petitioner herein to execute a self bond of Rs.5 lakhs with one surety. Heard and perused the records.

Learned counsel for the petitioner/accused submits that the Court below erred in directing the petitioner herein to execute a self bond of Rs.5 lakhs with one surety and as such, he prays this Court to quash the said order. Considering the facts and circumstances, this Court is not inclined to quash the docket order. However, the petitioner is directed to execute a self bond of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees ten thousand only), with one surety, instead of Rs.5 lakhs as ordered by the Court below.

The Criminal Revision Case is accordingly disposed of. Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this revision, shall stand closed. _____________________ JUSTICE RAJA ELANGO 01.07.2016 pln
