In this petition filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C., the petitioner-accused No. 2 seeks to quash the proceedings in C.C.No. 603 of 2010 on the file of the Court of XI Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate, Secunderabad, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 51, 52 (a), 63 and 68 (a) of the Copy Right Act.

When the matter came up for hearing, learned Public Prosecutor has produced the letter dated 10-07-2018 of Sub Inspector of Police, Mahankali Police Station, Hyderabad City, and submitted that the case was ended in acquittal on 06-02-2018 and therefore, the petition which is filed to quash the proceedings in C.C.No. 603 of 2010 has become infructuous and hence, the same may be dismissed.

In view of the above submission of learned Public Prosecutor, the criminal petition is dismissed as infructuous. Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall stand dismissed in consequence.
