Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and learned Government Pleader for Home.
2.
In all these writ petitions, petitioners are aggrieved by inaction in registering the crime reported by them, though the crimes reported by them are cognizable/not completing the investigation and filing of final report, as the case may be. 3.
On elaborate consideration of the issue and having regard to the law laid down by the Supreme Court and view expressed by other High Courts in the judgment dated 08.03.2019 in W.P.No.38397 of 2018 and batch, this Court held that petitioners have to avail statutorily engrafted remedies available to them on issue of non registration of crime/not completing the investigation and filing of charge sheet, and cannot directly invoke the jurisdiction of this Court without availing statutorily engrafted remedies.
4.
Having regard to the view taken by this Court in W.P.Nos.38397 of 2018 and batch, dated 08.03.2019, these Writ Petitions are also not maintainable and they are accordingly dismissed. It is made clear that there is no opinion expressed on the content of complaints made and on delay in investigation. Petitioners are at liberty to avail statutory remedies ventilating their grievances against non-registration of crime and/or delay in taking
up investigation and filing final report. Pending miscellaneous petitions shall stand closed.
