CVNR,J&JUD,J W.P.No.38774 of 2016 ORDER: (Per Hon'ble Sri Justice C.V.Nagarjuna Reddy) This writ petition is filed for issue of Habeas Corpus directing respondent No.2 to produce the detenu, Wanaparthy Balakrishna, and set aside the order bearing No.C2/3406/2016 dated 15.06.2016 passed by respondent No.2 and as approved by G.O.Rt.No.1901, General Administration (Special Law and Order) Department dated 27.08.2016 of respondent No.1.

Though the learned Counsel for the petitioner sought to make submissions on merits, we are not inclined to consider the same for the reason that the detention order itself is going to expire within a few days from now i.e., on 15.6.2017. Therefore, it is not necessary for us to dispose of the writ petition on merits at this stage. The writ petition is, accordingly, dismissed without delving into the merits of the case.

As a sequel to dismissal of the writ petition, W.P.M.P.No.47778 of 2016 filed by the petitioner for interim relief, is disposed of as infructuous.
