THE HON'BLE DR.JUSTICE SHAMEEM AKTHER CRIMINAL PETITION NO.487 OF 2018 ORDER:

This petition is filed by the petitioners-A1 to A10 under Section 482 Cr.P.C. to quash the proceedings in Cr.No.10 of 2018 on the file of the Station House Officer, Yacharam Police Station, registered for the offence punishable under Section 307 r/w 34 IPC.

Heard learned counsel for the petitioners, learned Assistant Public Prosecutor representing the State and perused the record.

Learned counsel for the petitioners would submit that all the family members are roped in this case. No alleged incident took place as mentioned in the F.I.R. Some of the petitioners are students and one of the petitioners is a Government servant and ultimately prayed to allow the petition.

On the other hand, learned Assistant Public Prosecutor opposed the relief sought for in the petition. 5.

The material on record reveals that there are allegations constituting the offence enumerated in the F.I.R. At this stage, learned counsel for the petitioners intends to withdraw the criminal petition.

Accordingly, the Criminal Petition is dismissed as withdrawn. Miscellaneous petitions, if any pending in this Criminal Petition shall stand closed.
