This writ petition is filed seeking a writ of Mandamus to declare the action of respondents in not rectifying the pay anomaly and rejecting the case of the petitioner by proceedings dated 12.08.2005, as illegal and arbitrary.

When the matter came up for hearing, learned counsel for petitioner submits that during pendency of the writ petition, the petitioner attained the age of superannuation. However, a direction is sought for to protect the pay of the petitioner. Having considered the above submission, this writ petition is disposed of directing the petitioner to submit a representation within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of the order and in which case, the respondents shall consider and dispose of the same in accordance with law within a period of four weeks thereafter. Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, pending in this writ Petition shall stand closed.
