M. Vishnuvardhan v. The Joint Collector (Civil Supplies),

ORDER:

This writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, challenges the Endorsement No.D1 59/09 and D1/60/09 dated 16.2.2009 made by the 1st respondent, wherein the 1st respondent directed the petitioners to produce bank guarantees for Rs.1,00,000/- each in the shape of FDR for releasing of vehicles bearing No.AP 30 U 175 and AP 04 V 1141.

2. This Court, while issuing rule nisi on 25.2.2009, in W.P.M.P.No.4213 of 2009 passed directed the respondents herein to release the subject vehicles on condition of petitioners furnishing bank guarantee to the extent of 50% of the amount and also furnishing third party security for the remaining 50% of the amount to the satisfaction of the first respondent.

3. Today, when the matter is called, it is represented by the learned counsel for the petitioners that the interim order granted by this Court has been complied with by the petitioner and the vehicles have been released and as such no further orders are necessary.

4. Recording the said submission of the learned counsel for the petitioner, the writ petition is closed. As a sequel, the miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall stand closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
