Heard Sri Challa Dhanamjaya, learned counsel for petitioners and Smt. K.Mani Deepika, learned Standing Counsel.

The impugned G.O.Ms.No.99 Municipal Administration & Urban Development (I2) Department, dated 05.03.2014 has been issued keeping in abeyance the G.O.Ms.No.85, MA & UD (I2) Department, dated 28.02.2014, by virtue of which the petitioners were appointed as members of governing body for a period of two years.

However, in the place of 2nd respondent i.e., Vijayawada Guntur Tenali Mangalagiri Urban Development Authority (VGTMUDA) a new body has been constituted. Therefore, no further orders are required to be passed in the writ petition. In view of the same, the cause in the writ petition does not survive for consideration.

Accordingly, this writ petition is dismissed as infructuous as cause in the writ petition does not survive for consideration. There shall be no order as to costs. As a sequel thereto, miscellaneous petitions, if any pending in the writ petition, shall stand dismissed.
