Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned Government Pleader for Services III.

Petitioners are presently working as Village Revenue Officers. Initially, the orders for promotion were issued on 09.06.2018 granting promotion as Village Revenue Officers based on the seniority list of Village Revenue Assistants. However, the promotion was kept in abeyance. Petitioners filed WP.No.30313 2018. By order dated 04.09.2018, this Court directed to restore promotion. Petitioners are granted promoted from 09.06.2018.

The grievance of the petitioners in this writ petition is that consequent to the restoration of promotion from 09.06.2018, the pay fixation benefit is not extended causing hardship to them.

Ventilating their grievance, a representation is made on 05.08.2019. Alleging inaction, this writ petition is filed. Without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this writ petition is disposed of directing the respondent No.1 to pass orders on the representation within six (6) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

The miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this writ petition shall stand closed.
