Heard counsel for the petitioner and the Government Pleader for Assignment appearing for the respondents.

2. Petitioner is complaining of the inaction of the 2nd respondent in considering the petitioner's representation dt.18.03.2016 for issuance of an essentiality certificate for starting a medical college.

3. The Government Pleader for Assignment appearing for respondents states that the 2nd respondent will consider the said representation within a period of six (06) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and will communicate his decision thereon to the petitioner.

4. In view of the said submission, this Writ Petition is disposed of directing the 2nd respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dt.18.03.2016 within a period of six (06) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate his decision thereon to the petitioner. There shall be no order as to costs.

5. Consequently, miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand dismissed.
